In early spring 2024 the Piedmont Community Alliance in partnership with TreesUpstate, planted 39 Trees within the mill village. Over 40 volunteers came out for the Piedmont Neighborwoods Tree planting. Over the next 25 years, these 39 Trees will filter 10,871 gallons of stormwater, store 78,232 pounds of carbon, and remove 429,000 miles of car emissions from the atmosphere per year at maturity. The support from the community made this possible!
