Join us for this one-of-a-kind workshop with local artisan Kristen of Indigo Root Textiles. You may know that Indigo is a natural die from a plant that has a rich history with South Carolina agriculture. Come ready for a hands-on experience and learn how to dye with a natural indigo vat as well as using basic Shibori techniques.

During our 2 hours together, each participant will have the opportunity to dye two flour sack towels as well an opportunity to bring one personal item of choice (must be no bigger than a pillowcase and made of 100% natural fiber.)

Get ready to be amazed by the indigo plant and its history and to enjoy working with indigo to create your own, unique pieces to take home and enjoy.

Class limited to 10 people to ensure an excellent participant experience. Make sure to wear clothing that can be stained!
