Short, sweet and to the point, our Garden Spotlight Series include focused learning on growing specific crops in your backyard garden, small farm and homestead without taking too much time from your weekend.
"Short and sweet" happens to describe what it's like to grow sugar snaps in SC, but it's oh, so worth it!
What to Expect: In this 30-45 minutes of time together, we'll discuss growing sugar snaps in SC, from which varieties you can choose from, when to plant, growing conditions and soil/fertility needs of this veggies, harvest and storage. We'll take a field walk to view how we trellis this vegetable and give you a few ideas for home trelessing too. Lastly, we will send you home will a small packet of seeds to experiment in your own garden at home.
